Code of conduct


This list of criteria that we adhere to, to ensure that we are working to a high standard. If you feel these requirements are not met, then you can follow our complaints procedure to let us know just where and how you feel we have let you down.


We will guarantee our work!
We provide a 2-year warranty on all installations, limited to the pipework we have worked on or altered. We can't be responsible for pipework we haven't touched.

We will always:-
Make Heating as low Temperature as possible. 

We will always advise consumers of the benefits of low temperature heating and install the lowest temperatures system possible for the customers budget, making heat pump ready where possible if not installing a heat pump. Our site is full of articles on low temperature heating to send them and save you time.

We won't dissuade from saving carbon!
We will refrain from suggesting that you, the customer,  “wait for hydrogen" if they are enquiring about Heat Pumps. If you budget does not cover the requirements of a heat pump system, then we will do our utmost to install lower temperature systems including cylinders within your budget range, as this benefits gas boilers too.

Our work will be neat!
All pipework, cabling and insulation will be considered and neat.


We Won't Use Plastic!
We never use plastic pipe on heating pipework. This does not mean we don't use Multi Layered Composite Pipe, as that is completely different! Our pipe of choice for new installations, is Frankische MLCP where it cannot be seen, and copper pipe where it will be seen.

Compensate Controls!
We will always install compensating controls - except in extreme circumstances.   A responsive load compensating control will have no experienced difference to an on off system. It will ONLY reduce cycling, increase comfort and reduce bills. 

We will always: 

- A) Show you how to adjust the weather compensation curve or
- B) Be prepared to adjust their curve by going back to your property. 

We will Always be polite!

We are always polite to customers. There are no silly questions, if we haven't explained something well enough, tell us! If you feel that our approach to you is below what you would expect, please let us know. We are only here to help, we don't like upsetting people. (sometimes we might be having a bad day, but we will always try to smile!)

Communication!
We aim to practice good client communication. Being too busy is not an excuse to not return a call. We always try to answer all phone calls or we WILL call you back to arrange time for a longer call or tell you that we cannot accept the work, we will not simply ignore you.

Practice water treatment!
Water treatment using VDI2035 is our preferred benchmark. If we can't do this, we will explain why and offer another solution. At the very least, we work to Building Regulation Part L
